In 2020 news that no one was really expecting, Vin Diesel looks to be officially embarking on a career within the music industry.

The action star, who is perhaps most famous for playing Dominic Toretto across the Fast and Furious franchise, took to Instagram on Thursday (September 24) to confirm the release of his debut single ‘Feel Like I Do’ and acknowledge all the support he’s received from fans.

“For so long, I have been promising to release music… encouraged by you, to step out of my comfort zone,” he wrote to his followers, alongside an artfully edited image of himself. “Thank you for believing in me. As always, I hope to make you proud.”

Later, he posted what could be the artwork for the track, which boasts a unexpected dance pop vibe and features Norwegian DJ Kygo. The song is available to stream now on Spotify.

Earlier this year, Diesel was seen – on screen, doing what he does best – in Bloodshot. Based on the Valiant Comics series, the fantasy film sees him portray a soldier who was killed in action, and then brought back to life as a superhero using nanotechnology.
