The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association will present the 1st Annual Iowa Rock and Roll Music Festival September 3rd through 5th.
Executive Director Clay Norris says the festival will feature 6 outdoor concerts. “On Thursday night at 7 o’clock on the Museum Patio, is Terry Klein, he plays a lot of classic rock and roll from the 50s and 60s and just does a great job. Then on Friday night on Lake Street, a group called The Mr. V Trio, and it’s just going to be a really good program of classic rock, some Motown, and Janice Hill, that performed here earlier in the year has agreed to be special guest and sing a few songs with them. Then on Saturday, starting at 12:30, on The Patio on Preservation Plaza, Vinyl Nights is going to perform. At 3 o’clock, over on our Museum Patio, we’re going to have Bill Carpenter, he does a great job, and then, at 5:15, we’ve got Emma Arndt. Emma was a recent winner of the Iowa Rocks Talent in the Individual Category, just a joy to watch and she’s a very, very good singer. Then at 7:30 pm, Arnolds Park Amusement Park Live at the Lake featuring Arch Allies”
